About Me

I have extensive experience in accounting, data analytics, and software development, having worked with various companies across London. Over the years, I have developed expertise in financial reporting, process automation, data-driven decision-making, and application development, leveraging a wide range of tools and technologies.

Accounting 

I spent several years working in accounting roles across multiple companies in London, where I quickly adapted to various accounting software and systems. My responsibilities included:

• Bank reconciliations
• Payment runs
• Credit control
• Journal postings

Business Intelligence & Financial Reporting

At a Chelsea-based lettings agency, I was responsible for developing monthly business performance reports, based off of the accounting system data. These reports were presented to the company board, which consisted of Private Equity professionals.


Power BI Implementation & Data Analysis

I successfully implemented Power BI at a distribution company, transferring legacy reports from MS Access and Excel into a modern BI framework. 


Data Analysis 

As a Data Analyst at a top-tier insurance firm, I played a key role in financial reporting, business app development, and data automation:

• Configured SQL programs to manage premium allocations, brokerage fees, and other financial transactions. across multiple carriers, including Lloyd’s of London underwriters
• Developed a CRM Business App for one of the largest marine underwriters in The City.
• Maintained and updated existing company applications.
• Automated financial report reconciliations.
• Led a data migration project.

Consultancy & Contract Work

I have taken on contract roles with SMEs, focusing on report automation:

• Automated financial report generation using SQL.
• Designed interactive, drill-through Power BI reports based on financial data.

More recently I have been working as a Power Platform Developer for an international engineering firm, designing and deploying end-to-end solutions.
